20 years ago, when I saw a single white hair on my head, I ran to my mother and told her in an excited voice " Look, mom. I got a white hair!"
10 years ago, when sombody told me "Hey! You got some white hair.", I replied with a grin "Yes, everybody gets that".
Recently, when I saw my growing white hair in a mirror, I felt a bit sad and lamented to myself, "Nobody can beat aging and aging beats everybody."

Xin Jinping, the last emperor?
Two days ago, I got a piece of quite predictable news from TV, Xi Jinping was "elected" to be the vice president of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Military Commision. This news finally sends a clear signal to the world, that Xi has secured the status of the successor of Hu Jintao and will rule China for at least another 10 years starting from 2013.
Just like most Chinese people, I know little about this leader-in-waiting, except for his Taizidang status and monstrous obesity, but my intuition somewhat told me that he might become the last emperor of China.
Nobody can stop the democratization of China and any government depriving liberty of its own people should be punished. To be a Nobel Peace Prize winner or to be another Nicolae Ceausescu? It's your call, Xi.

俺の口はちいちゃめ？
今日は歯医者さんのところで、「あなたの口はちいちゃめで舌は大きめだから、治療する時は動きがとりにくいですね。」と言われた。
毎日さまざまな人の口を見ている歯医者さんの言うことなので、たぶん間違いはないと思うが、「ずっと自分の口は大きいほうだと思っているのに」と、びっくりした。
実は俺の口はちいちゃめなんだね。

劉暁波さんのノーベル平和賞受賞、おめでとう！
中国共産党独裁政権の圧力に屈ぜに粛々と公正に平和賞を劉暁波さんに授与したノルウェー・ノーベル委員会に最大の敬意を！
「調和社会」を標榜した中国共産党独裁政権がずっとほしがっていたノーベル賞は、中国共産党独裁政権の存在こそが中国13億民衆の平和を乱し幸福を奪う元凶であるこを仄めかすノーベル平和賞の形で劉暁波さんに授与されることは、あまりに皮肉だった。
中国共産党のお偉いさんよ、これをきっかけに中国の民主化に向けて改革を進めよ！

2010春节联欢晚会
昨天晚上和老婆一边吃德州扒鸡一边看春节联欢晚会，度过了一个简单而温馨的大年三十夜。
在国内的时候往往都是一边打着游戏一边听听春晚里的节目，倒是来了日本这几年正儿八经的看了几场春晚。比起对春晚内容的期待来，应该是潜意识里有一种想通过春晚来找回昔日熟悉而在海外又无法感受到的那种节日喜庆气氛的情感更为强烈吧。
给我留下最深刻印象的节目是，小虎队的经典歌曲联唱。作为改革开放后进入中国的第一批台湾流行歌曲，曾给当时读小学的我留下过极深的印象。阔别近20年再次看到小虎队在舞台上的演出，既唤起了我过去买小虎队磁带以及在爸妈面前模仿小虎队成员边唱边跳的点点星星回忆，又让我再次感到自己充满激情的时代已随似箭般的光阴一同逝去，感慨万千。
附带提一下，这次CCTV官网提供了仅限海外用户的春晚直播服务，画面清晰而流畅，效果很不错。以往总是批判CCTV，这次应该小小表扬一下。
