最近の中国高速鉄道衝突事故の対応において、中国政府の計り知れないほどのバカ丸出しに腹が立って、一気呵成に書いた文章を投稿してみたが、見事に掲載された。
日本最大級の英字新聞『The Japan Times』に自分の文章を載せることができただけに素直に嬉しい！

High-speed for what?
Regarding the China high-speed train crash, I feel very sad at the grievous accident but at the same time I exploded with anger at how the Chinese government handled this accident.
Resuming the train service within less than two days after the accident might be another great achievement of "high-speed". But achieving the high-speed resumption without releasing any plausible cause of the accident and even without showing any positive attitude to further investigate it? That's just highly irresponsible and it's like telling all the world "welcome to use our high-speed train system, you might be lucky enough to enjoy a high-speed death experience at anytime."
Behind the high-speed resumption, another "high-speed" action was taken only one day after the accident - burying the remainder of the train wreckage! What a mysterious action! Burying a cow infected with foot-and-mouth disease or a chicken infected with bird flu make sense, but burying the train wreckage which highly possibly contained a lot valuable information and clues for the investigation of the accident is just inexplicable and making an exhibition of the Chinese government itself.
So I can't help but asking myself a question - "high-speed for what?"
For the passengers' convenience?
For the prestige of the country?
For the vanity of the Chinese government?
One thing is for sure.
Sacrificing everything including safety for "high-speed", is just killing people.

ようやく投稿できるようになった
ブラウザをIE9にアップデートしたせいで、bloggerの投稿機能が使えなくなった(そんなバカな！)。MicrosoftとGoogleのどちらかがすぐ対応してくれるのを期待してて、約1ヶ月我慢してきたんだけど、結局あきらめて、Firefoxをインストールして投稿できるようにしたよ。
しっかりしろよ！Microsoft&Google!!
昨日（っていうか今朝か）はなでしこジャパンの歴史的な快挙を中継で観たので、今日は昼過ぎまで寝ていた。そのおかげで、いまは全然眠気がなくて、明日からは会社なのにどうしようかなと思いながら、ブログを更新しているよ。
一日中家でテレビ&ゲーム三昧でやってきたので大したことがないけど、とりあえず今日の記録すべきことを書いておこうか。

Iroquoisを使ってCivilization5のimmortal難度を初挑戦して見事にクリアした。Science勝利。
記録すべきこと2
Facebookアプリとしてリリースされた「Civilization World」をやってみた。やはり俺はこういうSNS系のゲームに興味がないなと改めてわかった。ついでに、facebookで何人かの知り合いを見つけて、友達リストに追加した。
記録すべきこと3
ニコニコ動画で屈指のゲーム実況配信グループ―ボルゾイ企画の引退宣言を見てびっくりした。ずっとボルゾイ企画のアップしたゲーム実況を中心にニコニコ動画を見てきただけに、急に何とも言えない寂しさと切なさを感じてた。
こんなところかな。
ではでは、ラム酒を飲んで寝よう。
