I installed Steam (a multi-function game platform) nearly a year ago, because I needed it to play one of my favorite games - Civiliation5. Since then I have been using Steam nearly everyday to play Civilization5 and check the information and news about the games I am interested in. Though I found myself like Steam more and more and sometimes thought it could be really convenient to but some games on Steam, I had never purchased anything until yesterday.
Yesterday, as usual I checked Steam to see if there's some new games I might be interested in, and in the adventure game genre, a game with very beautiful cartoon pictures happened to come to my notice. Since I was a high school boy I've played a bunch of Japanese adventure games and they did not only give me a lot of fun but also helped me a lot with my Japanese. To the contrast, thought I love English language and English games, I barely played any English adventure game. So I decided it's time to give it a try and purchased the cartoon-like adventure game I mentioned above, and its name is - Runaway.
Runaway seemed to be a famous series and I purchased a package which contains all the released games in this series in order to get the discount which is said to be able to save me 60% of the money.
After the purchase by credit card, I immediately downloaded the Runaway series and started to play. Though I've just played the first game - A Road Adventure - for several hours, I can already tell that this series is really to my taste and worth the $50 I payed (especially at such a time when Yen is at its strongest level against US dollar).
