I got a perfect score of 990 on TOEIC test.

Today the result of my last TOEIC test was out and I finally got a perfect score of 990!

In the past two years, though I got a perfect score for either the listening part or the reading part of TOEIC test for several times, I never managed to get a perfect score for both of them in the same test. You know, besides the skills and the knowledge of English language, totally concentrating yourself on the test sometimes plays a more important role to get a perfect score.

I'm very happy and proud of this achievement, especially when considering the fact that I've never studied or lived in an English-speaking country, the fact that I barely got any opportunity to use English in my work, and the fact that I've never taken any exam preparation for TOEIC test.

What I did and still keep doing is, just spending more than 5 minutes learning English everyday, no matter how busy I would be. And by "learning English", I mean doing anything relevant to English, such like reading English newspapers, listening to English news or even playing English games. The point is to keep doing it everyday and keep doing it for a long time.

Getting a perfect score on TOEIC test could be a final goal for someone who needs it to get a qualification or start a new career. But for me, it could be another start line from which I will pursue some new goals and keep going in my own way to enjoy learning English.

Anyway, today is surely a day worth remembering.
